Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) is feeling the pressure to get the ball rolling with plans for the Woolpack in Emmerdale.
This week, Al has faced countless problems when it comes to getting the residents on side.
After discovering what Al was planning, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) stood up and addressed the village residents during a meeting, telling them they shouldn’t support a ‘soulless chancer’ like Al.
Tonight, Nicola caught up with Chas (Lucy Pargeter), telling her she knows people on the council who will make sure Al’s business venture doesn’t go ahead.
Meanwhile, after spending the night with Kerry (Laura Norton), Al’s smug smile was wiped from his face when he came across Cain (Jeff Hordley).
Annoyed Al hadn’t listened to his warning, Cain threatened him again, saying he should leave while he ‘still has his head on his shoulders’.
As Al headed off, a fancy looking car pulled up in front of him.
Inside was Al’s business partner Gavin (Ben Richards) – who wasn’t happy.
Gavin told Al he needed to get a schedule in place, as the building work on the Woolpack must start by the end of the month.
Hiding the reality of the situation, Al told Gavin that everything was fine, he just experienced a mere bump in the road.
If Al realises turning the Woolpack into luxury apartments is practically impossible, will he take action?
Could he be responsible for the Woolpack fire in an attempt to escape the mess he’s in?
