Strictly Come Dancing is back with a brand new line-up of celebrity contestants ready to take to the dance floor and wow the judges in hope of lifting the Glitterball Trophy this December.

Ahead of the new series taking over Saturday night television, professional dancer Dianne Buswell has opened up on her future on the show as she prepares to compete for the third year.

Speaking about if she could be giving up the dancefloor for YouTube like boyfriend Joe Sugg, Dianne said she couldn’t see herself hanging up her dancing shoes any time soon.

“I absolutely love Strictly,” the Australian exclusivey told “And hope to be there for many, many years.

“I think it’s an incredible show and I enjoy working on it so much.

“I am thankful I get to try these other things, I would love to even host, love to try out things like that,” she continued to explain.

Dianne started a YouTube account last year following her success with Joe in the 2018 series, who is extremely popular on the video viewing platform.

“I’m loving my YouTube channel at the moment, that’s a lot of fun,” Dianne said. “I’m always up for trying new things. Never say never to other opportunities.”

As for whether or not this year will be her last on Strictly Come Dancing, she commented: “But yes, I would love to be in Strictly for many years, be the new Anton Du Beke!”

In the next few weeks, Dianne and the other professional dancers will find out which celebrity they are going to be partnered with for the new series.

Talking about the ideal partner, Dianne said: “I think sometimes you can have a perfect person in your head and sometimes it’s the ones you don’t even think about that end up being these incredible dancers.

“Whoever you’re given that’s the exciting part, not knowing, not having any preconceptions in your head.”

She went onto discuss what she was looking forward to the most about her new partner: “I think the best part is teaching these people our art form we have worked on our whole life.

“Seeing them absolutely love it, because most celebrities, once they start they are so invested and they love it so much, and that’s really special to see,” Dianne divulged.

I think it’s an incredible show.

The Dove #ArmsUp campaign Dianne is currently involved in is all about embracing your body and ditching the hang-ups and insecurities people may have.

“I think it’s such an important issue that is really close to my heart,” she explained. “Dove did some research and the statistics were that 86 per cent of women have felt bad about their underarms at some point.

“I’m like ‘What even is the perfect underarm?’ and we really shouldn’t worry about the small things. I wanted to show it’s fine, we don’t need to have that perfect underarm and be a role model for young girls.”

It comes as the deodorant brand revealed the main causes for Generation Z worrying about their underarms were stubble (48 per cent), hair (44 per cent), sweat patches (43 per cent) smell (38 per cent) and armpit fat (24 percent).
