Jenelle Evans has been a constant fixture of uncontrollable drama since she debuted on her very first episode of the hit MTV show, 16 and Pregnant. Evans immediately got the attention of viewers and producers alike because of her volatile relationship with her mother and the father of her firstborn child. From there, she was cast on Teen Mom 2, where things steadily escalated until the 27-year-old was fired from the show. But could Evans make a comeback to the highly-addictive Teen Mom franchise?
Drama queen
There’s never a shortage of chaos where Evans is involved. Throughout her tenure of the show, Evans dealt with a myriad of concerning issues. The mom of three faced legal issues, struggled with an addiction to one of the most dangerous and addictive drugs on the black market (heroine), and had a lion share of intense (often unstable) interpersonal relationships. Still, that didn’t stop MTV from diligently recording Evans’ complex and dramatic life. But when Evans beloved pet was harmed, the network finally drew the line.
The dog drama
Teen Mom fans were outraged when they learned that Evans’ bulldog, Nugget, had been shot and killed by her husband, David Eason. In a since-deleted Instagram post, Eason claimed the Nugget snapped at the pair’s daughter, Ensley, and he reacted in retaliation. The killing of the family bulldog was the straw that broke the camel’s back in this case, and MTV decided to part ways with Evans and her family.

Claims of Evans’ outrage and devastation about the loss of Nugget quickly began to circulate, and there were even rumors that she was going to divorce her husband behind this act. However, to date, the pair seems to be very much together. Unfortunately for Evans, this incident resulted in multiple losses. Not only did she lose her pet, she also has lost her main source of income, as she can no longer rely on MTV’s checks. Most devastatingly, Evans lost custody of her children because of her husband’s grave error in judgment.

For her part, Evans does seem regretful of what happened to her pet. In an Instagram post, she spoke of her love and affection for Nugget and was very apologetic. “Nugget… I’m crying every day. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless. You were my sidekick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons. Every day I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here when I go to bed… you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back. #Heartbroken #Distraught” the 27-year-old said.

Will Evans return to Teen Mom?
But is Evans’ remorse enough for MTV to reconsider their decision and allow her to be a part of the show again? And would Evans even consider coming back after being fired? It’s hard to say how the producers might be feeling, but, Evans seems more than open to returning to the show. Despite being booted off the show, the former reality star had nothing but positive things to say about the network, the show, and the people behind it. “I hold a special place in my heart for MTV and the producers! I shared 10 years of my life with them! I wish them nothing but success.”
