QUEEN of Burlesque Dita Von Teese, in the guise of Beetroot, became the third celebrity to be voted off TV’s The Masked Dancer.

The former wife of rocker Marilyn Manson ended up in the bottom two with Knickerbocker Glory.

The 48-year-old American said: “I’d rather be taking my clothes off, I feel more comfortable. I did enjoy it, it was a lot of fun.”

But that still leaves nine competitors who have got the nation scratching their heads wondering which celebrities are behind the masks.

TV Editor Rod McPhee looks at the remaining line-up and the possible stars who could be hiding behind the crazy costumes . . .

Carwash

He’s clearly got incredible rhythm, leaving the audience at home convinced the multi-coloured mop is someone from the world of music.

And so far the best guesses are that it could be Matt Willis from boyband Busted or Jay K from Jamiroquai.

Zip

The big fastener who pulled together some top moves left viewers believing it must be someone who has had plenty of practice at dancing.

The top theory is it’s a boyband member – either Take That’s Howard Donald or Marvin Humes from JLS.

Rubber chicken

His moves are poultry in motion considering he’s in a giant plastic chicken suit, but it’s pretty obvious this isn’t a natural.

Viewers have been chancing their cluck guessing it’s The Chase host Bradley Walsh or Stars In Their Eyes legend Matthew Kelly.

Scarecrow

It might be a red herring, but given the body language and costume, guessers seem to think it’s a bit of a joker inside the suit, though they have also shown that they can dance – so two suggestions are Strictly contestant Joe Suggs and H from Steps.

Llama

All the clues suggest this one-time ladette now enjoys a quieter time away from the wild life.

So viewers pondering which former party animal now prefers more creature comforts have instantly thought of TV hosts Zoe Ball and Kelly Brook.

Squirrel

There was a big hint when this celeb suggested she came from TV royalty.

Guessers think it could be Love Island’s Dani Dyer, daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, or I’m A Celebrity’s Emily Atack, whose mum is entertainer Kate Robbins.

Beagle

Apart from looking like Biggles with his flying goggles, there were plenty of references to piloting a plane among the clues.

That’s left many viewers believing the man in the suit is Harry Judd from McFly or Olympic long jumper Greg Rutherford.

Frog

This hip hop star has everyone leaping to a host of conclusions, though viewers seem convinced the mystery celeb is a woman.

Guesses vary from ex-Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton to former Countdown maths whizz Carol Vorderman.

Knickerbocker glory

Viewers seem convinced the shoe-shuffling sundae is a stunning woman such as GMB’s Susanna Reid.

But some give that idea the cold shoulder and reckon the chilly character might be a man – Strictly’s Craig Revel Horwood.
