Tipping Point viewers slam 'painful' episode after contestant makes multiple mistakes | The Sun

TIPPING Point fans were left watching the latest episode of the show through their fingers after one contestant made a number of cringe-inducing blunders.

Ben Shephard was back on hand to host the ITV quiz favourite where three contestants battle it out in order to take home the big cash prize at the end. 

However fans were feeling seriously distracted by one contestants unfortunate consistent mishaps. 

Viewers we’re introduced to Emily, a care home manager from Glousceter, however many of them were left wishing they hadn’t been as they struggled to watch her make mistake after mistake. 

Taking to Twitter, viewers were eager to point out Emily’s shortcomings and air their own thoughts.

One disgruntled fan wrote: “F*** me that was painful.”

Another viewer in disbelief at her performance said: “No Ben she struggled with the questions. She would struggle with her name  #TippingPoint”

A third added: “She struggled all the way through tbf  #TippingPoint.”

Even more viewers were left raging at the screens after her underwhelming performance.

One viewer added: “Once again reminding us all not to go on a general knowledge quiz show if you’re stupid.”

While a fifth fan had some sympathy toward Emily as they wrote: “Emily is obviously a nice person. Hope she enjoys what she won. If the questions do not fall your way then you have no chance on any game show. Just saying.”

Emily herself was quick to comment on the backlash of her appearance as she replied on Twitter saying: “Honestly I was too confident going in after years of watching and shouting the answers at the tv.”

It comes after an episode of the show earlier this week showcased a contestant with a unique name that got everybody talking.

As Satnam made his debut on the show, dozens took to Twitter in their droves after his name was confused with something else.

Alongside an array of shocked-faced emojis, one person penned: "Is it just me that thought Satnam introduced himself as Satnav?"

Echoing their comments, someone else said: "I genuinely thought his name was Satnav. How funny would that be?"

Tipping Point airs weekdays at 4pm on ITV.
