Strictly Come Dancing 2021 has seen celebrities give it their all on the dancefloor for several months now, resulting in a couple being kicked out every week. There are just three dancing duos left in the BBC One dancing series who are desperate to lift the Glitterball Trophy. The finale will also see the return of the class of 2021 for a special reunion routine – although not everyone will be returning.
As with every Strictly final, the contestants from that year return one last time for a performance together.
Each of them dances a segment from one of their most memorable routines during their time on the show.
It is very much a highlight of the Strictly final as celebrities who went out near the beginning of the competition will be able to enjoy the big night.
Sadly, not everyone will be showing up for the big number this time around.
Who won’t be returning for the Strictly finale reunion?
Celebrity chef Tilly Ramsay is not going to be in the Strictly Come Dancing final dance.
Tilly, who is the daughter of chef Gordan Ramsay, has contracted coronavirus which means she is forced to sit out of the show along with her dance partner Nikita Kuzman.
Taking to Instagram, Tilly explained: “So sad to be missing the Strictly final – but sadly have tested positive for Covid so will be watching from my sofa and cheering on the amazing finalists from home on Saturday night – wishing everyone lots of love and good luck.”
She won’t be the only celebrity missing the Saturday night show either.
Comedian Robert Webb has also confirmed that he won’t be in the Strictly final due to his ongoing health issues.
The Peep Show star had open-heart surgery two years ago and was advised to withdraw from the competition by doctors after he had “begun to feel symptoms”.
Rehearsals as well as the live shows were draining the 49-year-old “physically and mentally”.
However, he has wished the rest of the celebrities good luck on the night.

Posting on Instagram, Webb said: “My love for Strictly is a season that is forever summer.
“However, the producers understood that when I had to stop, I had to stop completely.
“Dianne [Buswell] & Joe [Sugg] came over for lunch a few weeks ago and my partner gets it.
“If I gave out a few more details about what the show had been doing to me physically & mentally, you wouldn’t be surprised that the offer of one more dance was politely declined.”
There has also been concern surrounding presenter AJ Odudu who has suffered ligament damage, meaning she cannot put any weight on the foot.
Some believed she may have to pull out of the competition ahead of the finale but this will no longer be the case.
Thankfully, AJ has since confirmed she would “return to training this afternoon” [Thursday, December 16].
The final of Strictly Come Dancing will air at 7pm on Saturday, December 18, on BBC One.
